At long last , I am proud to announce the release of a unique self-published book entitled “A Journey Through The Twentieth Century”. The book is about the life of Warder Page (my Dad) who was born on September 1, 1900 and died July 25, 1995 about a month prior to his 95th birthday. It’s a unique story, which traces the life of a poor hard working boy who grew up on a farm in central Ohio, worked his way through college, pursued a career as a professional civil engineer, endured many hardships throughout the Great Depression, endured WWII, made many contributions to society in many ways without notoriety and most importantly, was a great Dad and super Grand Dad.
“A Journey Through The Twentieth Century” has been awarded the Governor Thomas Worthington 2008 Book Award- for an Ohio Biography. The book is a good read, humorous in many spots and comes alive through the insertion of numerous pictures and historical documents. Additionally, the book may provide you with a model which you might use as a guide for writing your own family history or genealogy.
